When Harvest was found in a cardboard box she didn’t come out of it. Even when the rescuers took her in the car the dog remained in her box.
Even when Harvest was taken to the shelter the staff decided to put her box in her kennel until the frightened dog could feet at ease. Patti Dawson, president of Dallas Canine, told that at first, the dog stayed in her box until she got used to them.
However, the recovery time was very short for Harvest as she got used to her new surrounding in 2 weeks. And 2 weeks later, she was taken to her new foster home. There Harevs got great love and attention and trusted people again.
